Wind noise/window adjust

Hello all, I've searched high and low and can't find an exact answer anywhere. The passenger window of my JCW simply doesn't go up high enough. It seals but doesn't sit as high as it should, so needs raising a few mm so wind doesn't pull it open an higher speeds. I've had the door panel off this morning, but was unable to get the central panel off that would reveal the window and runners.
Has anyone written a how to on this, or know how to fix it?
Many thanks in advance.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Its all adjustable, in out, up down, pretension, drop etc and it tells you how in the Bentley workshop manual, window glass position and adjusting, and you need MINI special tools like C spanner to adjust it correctly. so it says.
Looks a bit complicated but no doubt once youve seen how its done its pretty straight forwards.

Ah right. That seems well beyond my level of incompetence. One local mechanic suggested it was computer controlled, and only BMW could sort it, is resetting that likely to help at all?

There are two adjusting screws on the underside of the door that adjust the angle of the window (Torx T40 or T30 don't remember exactly). The height adjustment must be near the locking mechanism. All these screws are covered with circular plastic grommets. For the angle adjustment, I think you need to have the window fully down to actually see the screw through the hole.

I did this adjustment a couple of years back, so need to refresh my memory a bit... I did not remove the door panel, but I did not adjust the height, just the angle.

The computer only adjusts the behaviour not the geometry...

Ah that's great. Thanks for your help. I think I'll do more harm than good if I attempt to fix it, might have to bite the bullet and take it to the specialist.
