Hi all,
If anyone could shed some light on this I'd be very grateful...
I had my timing chain replaced about a month ago and ever since I have experiences an intermittent hesitation, which is usually most apparent in low revs, second gear, cold engine when accelerating. Over the weekend I took the intake manifold off and gave the inlet valves a good mechanical clean and the problem still persists. When I got the chain replaced the garage did say that they amended the timing ever so slightly. I took it back to the garage once and they said they couldn?t find a fault (no misfire codes stored etc). Has anyone else had an issue like this and could it be due to a ?super-knock? issue??
I took the valve cover off yesterday and cams look like they are in time to me (see attached image). Also checked the vanos soloniod which was fine and just put in new spark plugs. STILL this issue...
