Code Reader Advice

New here looking for advice.

Have a 2009 R56 and I need to get a code reader for it. I already have a cheap OBDII scan tool but I need one that can turn the airbag light off. I fixed the airbag problem but the light is still on and I don't want to pay the dealer any money.

I was thinking that I would pick up the Carly app and buy their adapter and would love advice either way on that. Has anyone used it and would you care to give me any feedback on it (specifically, can it turn the airbag light off)?

If not the Carly setup any recommendations for a decent tool would be helpful.

Many thanks!

Haven't been able to fault this, purchased one off Ebay here in Australia on SeanC's recommendation and very happy with it and runs on Win 10 without issues.

Yeah, the autocom is a great bit of kit. It does just about everything including resetting the service intervals so it saves you faffing about with the buttons on the car This is the most used diagnostic tools in my collection

i bought the CREATOR C110+.It gave the airbag fault code, once you have the code go on youtube and see how to fix the problem, mine was just the driver airbag connection on the steering wheel, i cleaned the connector.refitted, and cleared the code. warning light has not come on after two weeks. the Creator C110+ is only for BMW and MINI.

The Creator tool is ok and will get most home mechanics by with fault codes and it's a handy wee tool to keep in the glove box. Good to see that you addressed the fault rather than just clear the code
