United-Kingdom Confusing interior options

Been playing with the online configurator trying to decide what spec to order, but it seems to be going mental!

What the hell is Interior World Gotham Grey?

If I add it to a Cooper S after adding the Chili pack it automatically adds Navigation and cloth seats, but without the Chili pack, it does nowt!

Any one any ideas?

Cheers.

Itīs a no-cost option if you want another color for the cloth sportseats. Instead of the checkerd ones.
But I have no idea why itīs automatically adds the sat-nav, thats odd.

I thought an "interior world" was a whole interior package consiting of seats and other bit & pieces?

Interior World Gotham Grey is basically grey instead of black front door panels and rear side panels, and is only available with cloth upholstery on both Cooper and Cooper S.

You cannot have it with the CHILI Pack, as this automatically gives you cloth/leather upholstery.

Similarly, Interior World Tuscan Beige is only available with Tuscan Beige full lether, and Interior World Redwood Red is only available with Redwood Red full leather.

The configurator doesn't seem to depict grey door panels when you specify Interior World Gotham Grey ... is it a light grey?

Are there order codes associated with the default interior trims ... Fine White Silver for the Cooper and Checkered for the Cooper S?

It is slightly lighter (but not much) than the Dark Grey Colour Line, but I've only seen pictures so far, not the real thing.

No order codes, as they are the default trim if no alternative option is chosen.

Found this image on the UK configurator under Color Line Dark Grey ...

I believe the Color Line color refers to the armrest and knee roll, and the door panels pictured above are those of Interior World Gotham Grey.

The door cards are independent of the headlining colour, so are the same for both.

If you are having Carbon Black Lounge Leather you will automatically get Carbon Black door cards. Similarly Redwood Red and Tuscan Beige Lounge Leather automatically get matching door cards (called Interior Worlds!).

The Anthracite Headling basically covers everything down to the 'shoulder' of the car, so A, B & C-pillar trims, sun visors, grab handles and interior light housings.

I think I'm even more confused than when I started out using the configurator.

Me and my missus are thinking of waiting until we've looked at plent of the new cars until we order ours.

Cheers for the help.
