I think it looks good, but really not convinced by the voice control.

Far too slow to respond, and it talks back to you to confirm everything. It would drive me nuts!

I think it's really mean't as an aid for the visually impaired.

Has anyone managed to get the update yet? I keep asking my dealer but nothing materializes !!

They should have the updates I picked up my R56 at the end of April and it has the split screen and really is superb (well pleased)

Good luck but I can't believe some of you guys are still waiting for updates.

Yeah, I finally got the upgrade. I had to bring my MINI to the dealer and asked them to update the software. In fact they upgrade all the software in the car and now , finally, also I have my splitscreen sat nav! Yippeeeeee.

And indeed its really so much better. For instance it now also shows the estimate arrival time!

I was also hoping they could upgrade the software op the ipod adapter, but unfortunately they cant or there was simply no update. This ipod adapter is the only thing I regret having ordered.

It plays your mp3, but thats about it.

I found the new software is also much quicker when using MP3's on CD.

I had my car delivered with the updated software - Wollastons in Northampton

I know this is bringing up old stuff but my dealer wants to try and charge me £360 to upgrade software! How much did it cost u guys?
