Lounge vs punch leather

Hi fellow owners,

As you may have seen from my other posts, I am looking to order my 3rd Cooper S.

I am toying between Chili Red and Pepper White, but either way was going to have the black lounge leather seats, however have heard mixed reviews on them. I have black punch leather in my current car.

Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated as think I'm going to order tomorrow!

Also any images of the lounge leather as my dealer hasn't a car with these

For me the next MINI I have will def. have black lounge leather......... nice!!

I have black lounge leather on mine Pepper White /Black JCW S IThe seats are the first thing people compliment me on when they open the door. The seats do look stunning!

Punch is perhaps sportier to look at - looks good too

Go what you like with if budget can stand the hike!

Watch out the black lounge leather looks a little different as theere is stitching in centre panels too looks much better IMO

I have them, they're gorgeous! I will revert to Punch when I get my JCW as I'm going for a sporty ambience next time and the lounge is more luxurious

I wanted lounge but went for punch in my midnight black MCS.

Two reasons, one I spent the difference on the Harman Kardon upgrade and two although I think they look superb (the lounge) the punch actually felt more comfy.

Agree with the others that say the punch look sportier and the lounge classier - I think "sporty" tipped it for me as I'm coming out af an S Class Merc (living room on wheels) into the Coop and wanted the sports look and feel!

punch for me. i like the sportier look than the laid back lounge

I have the lounge ones and they are very nice to look at and super comfortable.
A bad thing about them is that the leather is so soft that they get creased and ugly really fast.
If I had to get andother MINI i would go for Alecanter Recaro seats

EHHH One more thing, i would go for heated seats.

Save your money, get cloth. Mini leather isn't that great quality.

If you really want leather, get it custom done - no more expensive, but higher quality. Although if you're going to finance the car that isn't really an option, and in which case I'd go for lounge as it seems to wear a LOT better than punch - and also looks a lot classier
