JCW Steering wheel

...Worth the £300 extra?

Heard good things from the one and only person I know that has it. Any others added it?

Does it make reading the top half of rev counter more difficult?

Any downsides?

Thanks

£300

Who is charging that? Dick Turpin?

I paid £185 for ours and fitted it myself

http://www.mini2.com/forum/2nd-gen-i...ing-wheel.html

If you want it cheaper than thats the route to go, give NewMINIStuff.com or Chris at Derek Woodmans a call, they will be the cheapest places after ebay of course

Oh and is it worth it? Hell yes, I'd never go back, I had to have it on the R56 MCS as I'd got too used to it in the GP

I would have one if it didnt cost so much... Not worth £300 IMO - if I could get it for £200 (or less ) then I would have it... The top of my 3spoke SW gets in the way of the top of the rev counter as it is - get some shift lights then it wont matter

When the 'other MINI garage' fitted mine, they charged for half hours labour, which when the labour rate is £120 an hour.... but for me it was piece of mind that my airbag was right on my brand new car

But its the most simple thing to fit yourself

Well I learned this after I had paid £240 to have one fitted on the GP by a dealer, but no way would I be paying £300
