jcw gear knob

hi does any one know if the gear knob on a r56 is threaded on or pushed on , im looking to replace mine with a jcw one , mine seems very tight,it doesnt want to move ,also has any one got any pics of there car with a aero rear spoiler fitted idealy chilly red with white roof, thanks phil

to remove, grab the stick and pull the knob up firmly, mind giving yourself a black eye though!
JCW knob simply push fits, 60 second job!

Yep as MJS says, the geaknob is a push on.......pull the gearknob as hard as possible and then some and it will come off......I have the JCW gearknob and it does feel nice and much sporty than the standard item.

You need to pull the surround and gaitor up first to avoid ripping the gaitor. Then pull the gear knob off and the knob and gaitor come away as one. Push the gaitor over the knob and you'll see how it's connected. Undo and repeat the process in reverse with the new knob.
