| Shot in the dark (DAB)
It is unlikely Mini have released enough details of the DAB now standard fit on the S but I have a question. Does the DAB unit decode the digital signal and send the analogue signal to the head unit or does it send a digital signal to the head unit so the head unit DAC is used?
I am curious as my previous stereo had an analogue connection for my iPOD mini and my ears thought it was poor sound quality. My current Alpine CDA-105Ri has a digital connection to my iPOD nano and the sound quality is far better.
