I'm still waiting expectantly for Weeble and others to respond to my post a few days ago ...... .... In the meantime, Angib said on 22 March 2011, "You also need to set up the DAB to receive 'local and national ensembles' - look in the crappy information card about how to do that." We did not receive that card when we picked up my wife's Countryman Cooper last week? What does it say? Peter

It's more likely that you did receive it - but you didn't imagine such crappy instructions were what we were talking about..... In 2009, the DAB instructions were one page in the Boost handbook/leaflet: Yeah, that's it!

| Angib, thanks for this. Thanks also for taking the time to attach a copy of the DAB card. I'm sure we were not given this when we collected the car two weeks ago. I'll ask the dealer about it. As you may know, all you get now is one booklet comprising 211 pages. _Everything_ seems to be in there including MINI Radio Boost CD We did get a card for the radio/cd with my wife's previous car 5 years ago, MINI One In the meantime I'll try to make a hard copy of the card. | Dab My new Countryman One picked up last Fri shows "no signal" when switched to DAB. Since I live underneath the Wenvoe transmitter which radiates DAB with a power of 9kw no signal can't really be the issue. I'll study the rest of this thread and then find a couple of hours to sit in the car and press buttons. Hopefully there will be a "eureka" moment well before Christmas! |

Now have DAB stations in abundance from six ensembles. Not sure exactly how I did it or will do it again when out of my local area but the up down arrow buttons in the centre seemed to play a crucial role.

re. "Question re. memorising DAB stations. How do you memorise stations on "buttons" 7 to 12? Ludwig " 24 Nov 2011 Just to let Weeble and others know that I've found out how to memorize stations on buttons 7 -12. On another related point. p125 of the Owner's Handbook - "Displaying additional information" Is there any way of getting the DAB radio to remember to display the SLIST/INFO screen e.g. current music track? At the moment, I'm having to press SLIST then INFO every time I turn the DAB radio on. That can't be right can it? Ludwig BTW Angib's copy of the information card he provided for us has been invaluable. Also, very impressed with the performance, sound and reception of the DAB radio in the car.
