Mini Connected iPhone App Editing Posts

I've got a new SD on order after being MINIless for nearly 2 years. Such excitement has led me to download the Mini Connected iPhone app to play with even though the car has not arrived yet.

Anywho, when I go to edit the Twitter and Facebook posts list, the app crashes as soon as I select the "Variables" button. Everything else seems fine :S

So apart from [TempOut], [Track]/[Artist]..., [Destination] etc (from the current pre-populated posts), what other cool Variables are there?

Just searched the website, can't seem to find anything related to an actual list of variables. Thanks for the link anyway, lots of interesting stuff to read about the system until the car arrives

Ok - the variables thing works fine on my iphone so I've listed below what is available for you:

[tempout]
[tankrange]
[destination]
[disttodest]
[arrivaltime]
[lastcaller]
[track]
[artist]
[album]

thats it - nothing else.

It's the web radio for me that would be cool if it will work reliably - it needs 3G which is still patchy round my way, especially on orange (which I'm on!).

I use webradio all the time - it is by far and away the best thing about Mini Connected IMHO. I have used the other functions and (for me) they are gimmicks. Webradio is fairly reliable - I am on o2 with an Iphone 3GS - I normally tune into radioparadise at 128kAAC and it works more or less all the way on my 29 mile commute into London. If you do get into a poor reception area then you can select a lower bit rate which does help. say 64k AAC or even 32K MP3. In London I can tune into 192k MP3 streams which are the best you can get.

The web radio looks quite cool. I used to manually hook up Last.fm in my old car through the AUX but being able to choose my Uni's student radio station (Burn fm) on the HU from anywhere with 3G signal will be quite amusing.
