Satnav question, Mk2 Nov 2006

Hi all, picking up a 56 plate 2006 Mk 2 next Friday. It's got the satnav in it and I managed to find the dvd while the dealer let me have a play in it. It was dated 2007.
I haven't played with it really at all so no idea if it's europe or just UK, should've looked clsoer at the disk really.

I was wondering a couple of things

1. I guess it will do europe if it has the correct disk?
2. can I use a BMW disk? I acquired a 2009 DVD for my dads 330d a little while back and thought I'd try that first. don't fancy paying full price if I can help it.

I've seen a link on here to buy a Mini DVD so that'll be my backup option.

Quick update, I got hold of a copy of a BMW Prof Europe 2009 DVD, slung it in and after a few minutes of thinking it seems to work quite happily.
DVD was not a MINI specific one, it also works in my dads 2005 330d
