Mini Connected - Google send to Car

Help please - have new C'man with Nav and Mini Connected. Have installed Connected app on iPhone 4s and when I connect with Y cable all seems to be connected OK. But I can't for life of me work out how to send a address from Google to the car.

On my iPhone app the 'Google Send to Car' and 'Google Local Search' apps seem to be greyed out - in other words nothing happens if I touch them.

I'm sure something very simple but help appreciated. Thanks

The sending is done from Google maps on your PC. Simply right click on the red marker/pin on the map and select 'send' (this could be hiding under 'more'). One of the options is to send to car and that is where you can select the make and username of your MINI connected app. Next time you are in your car, the Google send to car option should be active.

Thanks for that I have now successfully sent to car from Google Maps on PC. Is it also poss to do from Maps on iPhone ?

It's not possible to use the phone to send to car. I am not sure why the Google folks decided it is not needed...
