aux input 2006 56 mini cooper

hi hope you can help does any one now where i can get the cable to conect
to back of stereo for a aux input for my ipod as bmw want alot of money just
for abit of cable

You can use any cable that has the headphone jack plug on both ends and connect it to your aux input. I tried it on mine and it works, but the sound is a bit muffled...

It will work for audio but you won't be able to control the ipod from the head unit like that...and as you say the sound quality will most likely not be great.
