R56 2007 Integrated Sat Nav - Firmware Upgrade

Hi,

I have recently purchased a 57 plate Cooper S with an integrated Sat Nav system.

I am looking to make a Firmware upgrade of the Sat Nav System to bring the visuals up to the latest version (I believe its V.32). I have spoken with my Mini Dealership who got all confused what "firmware" meant so I knew it was a lost cause continuing to question them.

Could anyone help me find out more information on:

1. What would the firmware upgrade offer?

2. How can I install the firmware upgrade?

3. Where is the cheapest place to buy the latest 2012 Maps DVD?

Did you have any joy with this? I'm picking up a 58 plate JCW this saturday and I know that it's got a '08 navigation disk in it. I'd be keen to upgrade the firmware and then purchase a '12/'13 navigation dvd.

As a follow up, I've just bought an upgrade pack from satnavupgrades.co.uk
Will post my experience as I get the disk and try the upgrade.

Map DVD arrived next working day from satnavupgrades.co.uk

All loaded and working fine - no problem and fantastic value!

Recommended if you want to update your navigation disk.
