sat-nav camara support

Hello all

Does anyone know if there is an update to offer traffic/speed camara support
for the factory fit 2011 sat-nav, i have looked at the menu's and found POI's
for every catorgory but no camara data, i have spoke to mini and they are unsure, so i thought i would throw this question to the community for your help. cheers

Hi - unless there is a way to upload your own POI catagories? (not sure - only had car for a few days)

if you can then there are POI compatible formats for all types of cameras on the GPS World website (£20 subscription for 12 months) - this is how we used to do it with the early TomTom navigator CE software on Compaq/HP Ipaq's

My only comment would be that speed camera databases need to be updated often, and the best also rely on user submitted content for mobile units/traps - if it was an included POI category then it would quickly become obsolete, which is probably one of several reasons why I can see why it's not included.

I'd recommend something like trapster (free) for andriod/iphone as this is community updated so as accurate as reasonably possible
