Good aftermarket setup for 08 JCW??

As per the title, I've recently picked up an 08 JCW but he audio has left me wanting. Can anyone recommend a good aftermarket speaker (maybe sub if necessary) set up to improve bass and overall audio clarity. Im not looking to turn it into a rude boy bass box but would like to be able to crank a tune once in a while and have a proper audio experience.

Cheers

Dan

I've fitted the newministuff audio upgrade myself, and can recommend it. It really improved the audio quality, and lifts the soundstage due to the pillar tweeters.

Scooper,

Which upgrade did you go for mate?

Did you go for just the new pillars with the channel swap mod or the full upgrade?

Pillars is a 200 quid job and the full is 500 trying to decide if it's worth the extra 300 sheets

Thanks

Ry

I went for the full upgrade. Decided on the middle 2nd gen upgrade:
720w amp
300w rear speakers
350w front speakers
pillar tweeters.

I fiitted it myself took approx 8 hours and you have to remove the complete interior, and I mean the complete interior, completely down to the carpet...!!

BUT the sound is incredible, I work for a loudspeaker manufacturer and the quality of sound is brilliant, I cannot recommend it more.

Hope this helps.

Good choice...!! You won't be disappointed...!!

Are you going to fit it yourself or get is done at newministuff?

I think me and a mate will do it over a weekend.

I'm in Essex so too far to go and get mikey to do it.

Easy enough DIY fit?

Yeh it's not too bad, especially with the new easy fit plug.

Do you have the channel swap adaptor from Mikey? If you do then it's just replacing that with the new plug (as this is no longer needed), then fit the amp under the drivers seat and the cross overs under the passenger seat. As I said you have to remove everything. I would recommend a good set of trim removal tools as this will help a lot.

The instructions are quite easy to understand, but the ones I had did seem to miss a large chunk of information about replacing the front speakers, do I had to work it out myself..!!

You are welcome to PM me if you do get stuck and I will try and help.

Nice much appreciated. I think mikey sells the trim removal tools which I'll get as cant afford to be breaking clips and bits.

Nice to get feedback from some one who has it.

If anyone else has it and might be off to Santa pod next month it'd be great to hear the real thing
