Mobridge - any experiences?

I am looking to retrofit a bluetooth/ipod integration system into a standard 'boost' radio unit.

There seems to be a fair bit of stuff out there, but I would prefer something that uses as much of the OEM switchgear as possible. For this reason, I am a bit loathe to go down the 'parrot' route (although I'm open to persuasion, of course).

Something that appears on paper to be good is the Mobridge unit but I can't find any reviews or owner experiences regarding it. I've had a quick chat with the distributor, and they seemed a little....vague. I am also concerned that they only appear to have one single installer in NSW, which doesn't really inspire me with much confidence.

I would be happy to install it myself, but don't want to end up with zero technical resource if the whole thing turns to poo.

It's also not cheap ($800-odd), so I don't want to end up with an expensive lemon.

Anybody got any experience with these things - good, bad or indifferent?

Or any other suggestions?

Chris.

My daughter has an ioplay unit in her Nissan Micra which works well with her iPhone via Bluetooth, hence we are thinking of fitting a (similar but more advanced) Parrot MKi9200 into the wifes cooper with the Unika kit to operate via the steering wheel controls.

Whats not to like with the Parrot kit ??

The Parrot kit looks OK, but I understand that it requires a separate display and control switch to be mounted somewhere on the dash.

The Mobridge integrates with all of the existing MINI switchgear and OBC (with the exception of the microphone), so it's going to be neater.

I'm hoping to hear from Mobridge (Aus) this week, so I'll let you know if it looks like a winner.
