iPhone contacts not all syncing over Bluetooth - MINI Cooper Forum

Hello all, I've got a 2008 JCW with full Bluetooth (as its laughably called). I sync my iPhone 4 to it just fine and can make and receive calls etc. However only about half of my contacts actually get copied over - I've no idea why, possibly because some of the numbers on my phone are saved in the contacts as 'iPhone number' rather than just 'phone' or 'home'?
Anybody know what I can do, or how to force a sync?
I have All Contacts switched on in the Bluetooth settings for my mini.

i cant help you as i dont have bluetooth sorry.

on android, its possible to export your contacts to an excel spreadsheet, then import them again - in there you can modify the phone number types in bulk.

not sure how many numbers you have, but you could well be right and that is the problem. for sure it's the first thing id try.

given the number of mini owners out there, this forum is such a disappointment.
