English Oak Dash Panels

I recently purchased a 2013 MINI Cooper. I want to replace the dash panels with English Oak. The dealer said that the English Oak panels only fit models through July of 2012. My MINI was made after that. He said he didn't know why it only went through July but advised me not ordering them. I then proceeded to ask him to look up the base silver panels and he said the part numbers are the same throughout 2012. Anyone know if there is a difference/change? I was thinking that the part number only went through 7/2012 because MINI no longer offers English Oak for the MINI Cooper (in the States anyway).

I know this answer may come too late but the trim parts should be indeed the same. Your assumption that they were listed as not matching your car because they are no longer available for new cars also appears accurate. There hasn't been a facelift in 2013, there only is a R56 from late 2006 to 08/2010 and the R56 facelift from 9/2010 onwards. The only change I have seen in 2013 is that the USB/Aux box went to the bottom of the compartment from the top were it used to be.
