Front speakers not working

Hi everyone,
I'm new here on the forums. Just bought a 2007 mini cooper a few days ago and i noticed that my front and side speakers are not working. I seem to have the alpine upgrade installed and the rear speakers are working normally.
I tried to check all the options on the radio but couldn't find any option to turn them on.
Got any ideas?
thank you in advance

Could it be a faulty speaker?
Other than take the speaker out to check it, I don't
know what else to suggest.
Is the car under any sort of warranty?

My radio has features for adjusting balance from the left side to right and also front to rear. Have you checked that out?

No warranty I'm afraid, imported it from Germany. The company says it should be working.
About the adjustment i found where i balance it from left to right but didn't notice it could be done from front to back, maybe 'cause it's in German
Gotta check it again, ty for the advice
