Seat swap

I have a 2010 R57. Does anyone know if a set of heated Lounge Leather front seats will just hot swap with my existing heated cloth with a bit of leather ones?

Do the connectors just plug in and everything works, air bags don't trigger a warning or anything like that.

Thanks.

They should swap without problem. Remember to disconnect the battery and give it 5 minutes to lose any charge, just to avoid triggering an airbag light, in case you switch on the ignition while the seats are out (yeah, of course you wouldn't, but why risk it?).

Slide the seats too and fro to undo all four big Torx bolts and then tip up the front to see how to disconnect the connectors. The photos show the socket without a plug - you pull the black bit sideways and that releases the plug (which is locked in by the black bit).

First photo unlocked, second photo locked.

Thanks. I have always liked the Lounge Leather seats and have seen some advertised and wondered if it was an easy swap or not. Now got to decide if a 500 mile round trip to collect them Is worth it, oh and if I could fit them in my convertible to bring them back.
