Question The Openometer - Daft Gimmick or Must-Have Option?

Now I'm getting down to final spec of my R57, I'm struggling over the "Openometer" decision!

Will this enhance the value of the car? Is it something that (like the wind deflector) that car would be incomplete without? Or is it simply the daftest marketing gimmick yet?

Would love your views!

Ian

I love it Ian, I think it's such a MINI thing, I'd have to go for it. Does it cost any extra to spec it?

It probably is a bit of a gimmick, but it's in keeping with the whole spirit of the MINI cabrio ownership

I love it, perfect MINI gadgett. Apparently on the test drives the enginers were putting on their sheets the openometer readings too

It's a quirky gimmick of course, but that's part of the whole MINI thing.

At the end of the day, it's your car. I doubt it will have any effect whatsoever on resale value so if you want it, spec it!
