OEM Sat Nav Visability - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi thinking of updating my Gen 1 Cab to JCW Cab. One question if I may - does anyone have the OEM sat nav and if they do what is the visibility like with the sun shining and the roof down?

it is cheaper to get a hand held sat nav then a fitted one.

Very helpful!

OP, I have a first Gen NAV and it is easy to see in the sun. I can't imagine that they would go backwards on screens on the newer models.

I picked up my new convertible today. Visibility in the sun is much better than you might think.

i don't have a convertible, but when the sun comes through my opened panoramic roof and shines on the nav, it's still very clear en readable. no prob whatsoever
