New MINI Spied on the M62! - MINI Cooper Forum

On my home from Manchester this afternoon I convoyed with a couple of loosely disguised next gen MINIs. The photos are a bit dodgy (blame my camera phone) and the video I got chasing them didn't save coz my phone ran out of memory

Doh!

Anyway, as they passed me the guy in the second one immediately covered the dash with a blanket. So, obviously something secret there! I was with them for about 5 miles - they both sounded kinda tasty too.

As they passed me to head off on the M6 the guy in the second one pulled alongside and took pictures of my car! Dare X4 lookalikes on the next gen MINI anyone?

Apologies again for the photo quality, but here they are anyway.

Here are some spy spots recently taken at the entrence to the Ring'. These pics were from last week.

If I was there and saw that....oh man....I would have been sneaking around taking soooooooooooo many pictures of it!

It was strange because they were being led by a DS/B S on foreign plates. The drivers were pretty chilled out - I got waves and thumbs up. I only wish the traffic had ground to a halt so i could've got some better photos. They were quite quick too - I had to use a fair few of my GTT horses to get past 'em as they were peeling off to the M6
