Thanks Den W.

The red was a gamble put really works with the grey/black exterior. The chrome with the piano black is also a good combo. Our last 'S' was just plain on the interior so decided to be a bit braver this time.

I agree about jmelrose's car looks superb.

Hello i'm a newbie from the UK. I pick up my new Mini this Saturday coming. It's an Electric Blue Cooper S. Ex Demo model, with 5000 miles on the clock. Loads of extra's-

Works Aero Kit, front and rear bumpers and side skirts
Full Leather interior
White 17" Rims
Works Suspension Kit
Multi Function Steering Wheel
Brushed Alloy Dash Kit
Panoramic Sunroof, with White Checks
and plenty more to find yet

Can't wait to get it, i have been driving a Civic Type R for the last 2 1/2 years, this Mini feels so much better, faster, tighter, better handling, quicker throttle etc...

Will post pic's Saturday evening, or it may be sunday

PICTURES NOW ON -

On the inside we went for Rooster Red colourline, Piano Black and Chromline, and it really looks good.

Itching to try the sport button now!

Saving up to add driving lights added, we had them on the old Cooper S but didn't order them straight off, regretting that now.

Looks top!!! Your new mowtah isn't too bad either

Thanks Ollie.

It's taken some of our friends a while to work out that we have changed the car, with the colour been the same, and the number plate the same (we transfered the old one).

It's amazing what a good car valet can do these days!

Only things we miss from the old car is the 'burble sound' on idle and the screem of the supercharger is you go into hyper space........

hey i just got my yellow mini cooper s on Monday and I'm very excited about the car. I'm very very pleased with the car except for the exceptionally craptastic sound from the hifi but i still love my car.
my first upgrade will probably be the springs because this car desperately needs to be lowered and I'm not fat enough to lower it with my weight. any suggestions?
i hear h and r only makes the springs for the r56 right now? will i need anything else or will stock shocks be fine. anyone diy installation? how hard is it
I'm so excited
