I bought a low mileage mint condition late 2013 Iced Chocolate Cooper S Highgate Convertible this week. It was an impulse buy as I was about to order a new city car (Renault Twingo), but decided I needed something with a fun factor as I have been very ill for a few years, and I'm only just starting to get out again. It's certainly brought a smile back to my face! I really didn't have much knowledge of the current Mini - I'm old enough to remember the launch of the original BMC Minis back in the day and fought with a few of them in their time, although I admit to not being a big fan. I have to say that I'm impressed with the modern car in nearly every respect, but I think some aspects of the spec are idiosyncratic and over complex, but maybe that's part of the fun! The handbook is also the most badly produced car manual I've ever encountered, very frustrating finding out the most simple thing. Better manuals come out of China written in Chinglish.
