Sound Proofing

Collected the laser blue S on Saturday no sound proofing under the bonnet just a wee bit at the back of the scoop.

Anyone collected a S that has the whole sound proofing under the bonnet if so can you psot a clear picture.

But does that mean that there should be sound deadening on the 'S' and not on the Cooper?

Mine also has just a small patch of soundproofing in the middle of the bonnet.

Can you please check if the bonnet scoop is covered , i.e. it is closed as an air intake? Many thanks...

well I'm thinking the sound proofing is standard on European spec and not on UK Spec cars.

I'm not bothered if it does nat have any I just want to know why some pics show it and some don't.

I'm looking for anyone who has collected their S in the UK and has it fitted the full version not the wee bit at the scoop.

At the launch party at my dealers all the MCS' had no sound proofing cept for that token piece where the scoop is. I'd be surprised that it isnt included on UK cars, purely from an aesthetic point of view, it just tidies it up some and anyway ,who wants to see all the washer tubes hanging and exposed when you flip the bonnet?

The yellow MCS Mr Mullet has on loan has the sound proofing under the bonnet, shown in this picture taken by him:-
