New Car, New Year

There must me loads of people out in the mini world eagerly awaiting the arrival of there new R56 weather its Jan Feb or March. I know iam waiting for mine to arrive sometime in Jan, but i just wish that i could go down to Oxford and pick it up myself but hey i can dream! who else cant wait for there delivery ? and what are u most looking forward to besides plenty of smiles

I'm looking forward to taking delivery of my R56 MCS in January (if not delayed!)...hoping that the arrival of a new MCS will brighten up my January - I normally hate January!!!

Can't wait to try out the extras I've specced, particularly Sat Nav, Hi-Fi Upgrade & DAB.

Still awaiting my DS MCS. I've been told by the dealer today that it is in transit

Looking forward to the Sat Nav, HiFi upgrade and the IPOD adapter (If my dealer does the honourable thing and reduces his £325 price tag )

Also looking forward to seeing an R56 in DS ! Still none on Mini2 yet, as far as I know.

I've decided to take the plunge, but wait until the end of this coming year. I've took out a MINI Car Saver plan that has to be cashed in within 12 months and hopefully the new Works will be available by then

I'm most looking forward to driving it - had a test drive and it was the most fun i've had in ages, soo fast and awesome handling

I hope it arrives in January - ordered at the start of November and was expecting it before christmas.. Nevermind it is more than worth the wait

Nah, I got my (current) Cooper from them tho (They wer good) but I heard good things about Woodmans so went there & they offered me a better px deal. I must say they havn't been amazing so far tho!!!

Yeah iam a Bowker person live in penwortham so its just a short trip down the bypass. Ordered my last 2 from there had no promblems what so ever and the service is first class, I think Bowker as a whole are great there parts department are just as good as woodmans if not better and the service what u recieve is first class they will go out of there way to make u happy.

I must admit Bowkers did do a very good job for me for the past 3 years & It does feel a little strange moving dealerships but I had to go with the one who gave me the best deal!!

Please post some photos of your DS MCS when it arrives - I'm waiting for an MCS DS & have yet to see any photos of the car in this colour.

Good to hear that your DS is in transit, it gives me some encouragement that my car may arrive sooner than later - the last update that I received from my dealer (weeks ago), was that my car estimated for delivery around the 1st week in January, but I've heard nothing since. After reading about delays on MINI2 & having not yet seen any photos of a DS MCS, I just assumed that the date would slip. I'll be contacting my dealer next week for an update.

Looking forward to a PW Cooper. Cannot wait as I think im inheriting it in a year (when ill be able to drive) Must admit, not much on the speccing front, well, Chili Pack, Flame spokes, b/bs, MFSW etc. but oh well, looks the mutts
