United-States First time buyer and poster need advise...

Hi all,
I have been a longer time reader of the forum but this is my first post.
I am putting together my final ordering package for the 07 MCS at the moment and have ran into a few questions. I am in need of some advise.

1. I am getting the Navi without the HiFi upgrade, will that affect my ability to get real-time traffic information? Also does the Mini navi comes with lifetime real-time traffic subscription? I am in the US by the way.

2. I am planning on getting the chrome interior along with the exterior. I like the exterior chrome but the interior I am not sure how much of a differences it makes. Would someone mind to chime in on this one? The issue is if I skip the interior chrome package I can pretty much get the Sport package for the same money (since I am getting the Xeon headlight already) and I wouldn't mind having the bonnet stripe either.

3. As for the "spot button" is it even an option for the US MCS? I don't see it anywhere nor mention as a standard.

Thanks in advance for take some time to help me out. I am looking forward in joining th circle of Mini owners soon.

SG

I would go for the chrome line interior - I specced my R50 up with this retrofit and it completely lifted the interior. Definitely worth every penny!

Chrome int. is pretty good. IMO, bonnet stripes on the R56 are 99% a must!! By the way, welcome to MINI2

Thanks guys,
How about the 17" wheel that comes with the sport packages? with the bonnet stripe I will be only be adding $300 more for the 17" wheels. Does that improve the look or handling of the car?
