Just a little point,

In a recent issue of Modern Mini, a car salesman said that Pure Silver is the easiest colour to sell. So I don't believe the commetns about it bein crap come sale time are true.

silver to me is a bit dull... and black like you said... looks good but a b*tch to maintain
Give Sparkling Silver a shot.. it is still silver but way better

I've seen a few all pure silver MCS's and they look brilliant! Very nice and subtle. If its what you want go for it!
