They said £1785 for the bodykit, white stripes and aux lamps...its usually 2100 they said. I went for it because i loved the look of the kit anyway the lamps were a bonus. Yes little Beetle diesel is going, i'll miss him though he's been a steady car, im just ready for some fun now!! ![]() Havent yet told other half so ho hum if you guys dont hear from me again look under the patio ![]() I should just ask for peace of mind, would anyone have stuck on or removed stuff like DAB radio or auto air con?

This is not to make you feel bad but to maybe give you something to negotiate with but my dealer charged me £60 for bonnet stripes and £775 for the aero kit. All fitted. I think it's wrong that there seems to be so much disparity in pricing on dealer fit accessories. Even with the lamps your price seems high. In terms of options I went for, I just loaded it up because it was what I wanted and am aware come resale time I will lose out. So, I put on Auto Aircon, Heated Seats, LSD, MFSW, Bluetooth, DAB Radio, Ipod kit, Visibility Pack, Hifi Upgrade, PDC and quite a few JCW interior bits as well. But as I said, come resale I won't get much back on any of those options, but I definitely would've enjoyed them in the meantime.

Don't sweat it, when you push the start button for the first time you won't regret it. You've ordered a great car and it will give you years of enjoyment. I'm in the same boat with you - I have to get rid of my VW now too, only it's a GTI. 9 weeks and counting! Currently: 2002 VW GTI.

Welcome to MINI2 and congrats on your spec ![]() I would have to agree with anissut though, the pack that they have put together for you is a bit overpriced. The aero kit can be bought from Woodmans in Blackpool (a sponsor of MINI2) for £1000, the auxilary lamps should cost anywhere in the region of £300-£400 and the bonnet stripes come from the factory for a set price of £60. It might be worth you discussing a bit more of a reduction in the price armed with these figures Sorry if it sounds as though we're trying to ruin the new car buzz, just trying to save you a decent bit of cash

It's best to keep the spec to stuff that costs a lot to upgrade after.ie MFSW and buy after market stuff that can be removed and sold come trade in time. I made over £500 selling all the stuff (mainly JCW) I removed from my MCSC when I traded it in. Make sure you get your old bumpers when aero kit is fitted and stick them on Ebay or the classifieds here.

I would mention it straight away. I got my car from rydale cardiff. They didn't give a single thing discount wise! (and ended up selling my old mini privately due to trade in offered being on the low side). I only use them because i live a couple of miles away! But does anybody have suggestions for what angharad can say, as having placed the order it is a bit difficult to negotiate
