New MCS - Two stripe or not two stripe?

Hi folks,

Well after much deliberation I went down to my dealer last night and ordered another MCS to replace my 54.

I've opted for Dark Silver this time with Black roof and stripes. The thing is - I'm not too sure about the stripes! I worked them into the deal so theres no cost, but just wondered if anyone has any opinions on them? - is the black roof enough? I've currently got Hyper Blue with white roof and stripes and really like them but wanted something a little more subtle this time round. I'm stuck.

The other question I have is about the stripe decals themselves - do they all have a white border or are they all black - which is best? Links to any photos welcome.

Definitely go for the stripes - they make the car look sportier!!

Get them (as they're free), if you don't like them, peel them off. Simple.

I'd get them as they are free but then remove them after 6 months as I am sorry to say that other 'inferior' car producers are joining the bandwaggon. Can't have you lot looking like Swift drivers, can we?

Yes, they do have a white border. DS/B looks great with or without stripes - you go for what you prefer.

If you order with the stripes, then at a later date decide to remove them, you may find that the paintwork will not quite match due to weathering of the non-striped areas .

i picked mine up yesterday with the stripes. next to it in the garage was a d/s with b roof with no stripes. my personal opinion get the stripes. i will get round to posting a pic asap.

as paul says, if you dont like, take them off

Defo get the stripes. I think that the R56 is a little bare without them, especially in white. I can't imagine ours without bonnet stripes.
