how to open the trunk?

so wats the deal with opening the trunk? i know when u press the trunk botton on the key it unlatches and u can pull it up. when u press unlock, as in unlocking the door, you can open the trunk using the handle on the trunk. the tricky part is how do i open the trunk with the key in the ignition? when i go back to try to open the truck, the handle doesnt work. any clues?

You have to unlock it (everything) with the switch on the switch panel.

Do you not have a toggle switch inside the car thats you press and unlocks all doors,

This happens to me as my doors lock after a reach 10mph and i need to press this switch before i get out to go to the boot!

is boot the proper name for the tiny trunk? and why do they use the term bonnet too for the hood?

It's called English.

Boot is the thing at the back where you store stuff, bonnet is the big thing at the front where you hide the engine.

I don't think so. Not if you read the manual or look at the icons on the switches.

A trunk is what an Elephant has.
