Would anthracite wheels look ok on a DS/B mini?

Hi Folks,

I'm considering changing the spec of my mini on order, would anthracite wheels work ok with a DS/B mini? I'm concerned that it would end up being too grey. At the moment my order is for a PW/B mini with anthracite r99 alloys, should I stick with that colour scheme instead?

i think you are right. I have DS with R99 but the polished items and it looks terrific - really sets the car off. I was originally thinking of anthracite R99 but felt it would look too moody with DS. I get nothing but complements from everyone on how great the rims look. And when they are turning they look even better!

Antrhacite would look great. I just happen to have a set for sale. So if you decide to go this way dont buy them from Mini, I can save you a fortune, they are as new (four months old and 3000 miles complete with run flats). Let me know if youre interested.

They would look great. Seen a DS/B with black R105's, and wasn't too sure - but anthracites would look great
