New member picture request DS & white roof

Hi there

First id like to say how helpful this site has been to myself and the misses in coming to the decision to order a R56 MCS..........thanks everyone!

The only thing on the spec we cannot decide on is we are going for Dark Silver with a white roof.....BUT do we go for bonnet stripes or not

So could anyone post pictures of DS mcs white roof with and without bonnet stripes.........???

I love showing off my car. Here you go:



DS/W and no bonnet stripes (yet). I'm considering viper stripes, offset to the driver's side running from bumper to bumper. Probably in a reddish-orange color to match the interior. MINI Sport Suspension lowered with H&R spings BTW.

Oh, and that road was 25 miles just like that pic. I didn't see one other car. It was incredible.

I ordered my MCS in DS last week, but was not as brave and decided to go for the same colour all over! I think white looks really classy on the DS though.

What sort of spec is on the rest of the car?

I;ve seen a car has in dark silver & white roof..... and on the roof zebra stripes... looked excellent and very individual !

How about that instead of bonnet stripes..personally I would go for that rather than bonnet stripes.

I think bonnet stripes are a must on the R56. Go for it

I have auto lights / wipers and love them ! Wipers are getting lots and lots of use presently.

And way way to easy to go mad with the spec.. I have almost the same options as you, though the much better looking black roof ....and also went for DSC, full JCW aero kit, iPOD integration kit, MFSW, flame alloys, visibility pack, colour line rooster red, red bits on seats, chrome mirror caps and the first aid kit.... I just got carried away ticking the boxes I think.

I went for the standard daash finish and added the JCW chequred mats...looks excellent.

Great thing about a mini is that you can get all the bits you want, bad side is you end up spending tooo much on them.

Lovely spec! I opted for the auto lights/wipers. I was a bit unsure but my dealer said they were useful if you do a lot of motorway driving (which I do)... Also you have the ability to over-ride them if you want/need to.

So when can you expect to have your car on the drive?

Auto wipers are great

The only problem I have had was last Friday, it was like a monsoon and the wipers just decided to stop... twice

Maybe a silly question - but were you stopped at the time?

Mine stop wiping when I'm not moving (or switch to intermittent, at least).
