I was going to get one identical but had the body kit fitted until i came to insure it, the body kit is classed as a modification as its an optional extra, insurance companies wouldnt touch me till im 25 just on the basis of the cosmetic body kit. :-(
Lazer Blue at 17995 im goin to go for. What decals are avail for the sun roof as the original one with the body kit had a cheque sun roof. Are there any more decals avail??
That Laser Blue Cooper S is one of the 6 different specifications given to dealers for the R56 launch back in November 2006.
The specification lists on MINI Cherished are triggered by the registration number of the car being advertised, from a pre-populated list of options set up centrally by MINI.
Dealers have the option to add an option/accessory, but on high spec cars they usually have to delete one of the pre-populated list, as they only have a limited number of options they can list for each car.
Because the list is pre-populated by MINI from the original factory specification of the car you often see odd options that dealers forget to delete like 'English Handbook' or 'Launch (something)' so you'll probably find that the 'Event' option on this particular car was something relating to the 'Launch Event' specification of the car that the dealer hasn't deleted properly.
