Ordered Lightning Blue/Black MCS

Hello, after a long while thinking and saving some money plus the endless nights staring at the configurer I placed an order last night !

Ordered spec,

MCS (new model with regenerative braking) Lightning Blue and Black roof,
Cloth/leather ray Pacific Blue,
Chilli Pack,
Comfort access,
Auto aircon,
DSC,
Sport Suspension,
Multifunction S/wheel,
LSD,
Black Bonnet stripes,
Heated Mirrors/Washerjets,
Chrome-Line Interior,
Colour-Line Pacific Blue,
HiFi Speaker System,
Darkened Rear Windows (<--- new spec change)
Full tank of petrol,

Plus he said it wouldn't be a problem to change my car mats out of the chilli pack to JCW car mats for FOC (he better remember or I'll be moaning ! )

Delivery is estimated for 20/09/07 I assume its now when time slows down to a snails pace !

fantastic, Very nice spec.

Will be interesting to see how the laser blue black combo looks. Its the combo i''m considering

Almost exactly the same as mine apart from i've not gone for comfort access and added chrome outside......so i'm my opinion a very nice spec.....oh and my roof is white

Just a little update, took all my documents to the dealership for cherished transfer, also added Darked rear glass to the spec, I think it'll really go well with lightning blue and the black roof

Cant wait now !

That'll be a great spec. In all honesty, if I would have ordered a car, I probably would have picked Lightning Blue.

Queb thats some spec hope the pain of waiting is not to bad never mind it will be well worth it when you get this fantastic car.

Nice like the chequered roof, I'm not sure what to do with my roof yet, probably leave it blank till something takes my fancy !

Waiting doesnt seem too bad yet I'm always too busy at work then when I get home I fall asleep heheh well I bet that'll all change when the car finally turns up and I can get plenty of running in done

Just over 3 weeks to go, wonder when its going to go into production ... hmmm ... hope my dealer keeps me up to date

Hello all. new to the forums. I ordered my lighning blue/black mcs a few weeks ago and delivery is this saturday. just 4 weeks from order to pickup! my first mini. Will post some pics when I get it. next couple days will feel like a week no doubt or knowing my luck i'll get stuck in a groundhog day loop on friday

Cool......you did well on lead time.....waited nearly 10 weeks for mine! Enjoy

Yeah its making me green with envy both my local dealers both had week 38 delivery dates ! But ended up with the second dealer I used because,

1) Slightly cheaper

2) Knew Sports suspension was free when in conjunction with the chilli pack !!
(I was shocked the first dealer didnt know this !!!)

3) Didn't basically call me a liar when I pointed out a week 38 car was £115 to tax for a year
and not £140 (he ate his words after checking in the office)

4) He didn't complain when my friend asked for a cup of Tea saying "Oh coffee is easier, only have to press a button for that", then got him a cup of water.

5) Didn't stomp out the dealership feeling I'd just had a argument and felt disheartened with
the whole mini adventure.
