| New Colors for 2008 ? Any word on new colors for the 2008's ? <rant> My wife & I made the trip to our mini dealer to get on the wait-list for a new '08 R56 Cooper S. Everything about the new R56 is perfect, except the selection of colors. I can't believe the assortment of drab boring colors, even Honda offers a better assortment on their civics. We were really dissapointed with the mellow yellow, on the computer it looked to be such a huge improvement on the old pastel yellow, but it really lacks some depth, while the metallics are so plain. I really loved the royal grey they had in '06, presently we're getting dark silver with plans to repaint eventually. If anyone at Mini's reading this, Hot Chocolate & Nightfire Red would be nice options for the Cooper S as well </rant>  |

| The only new colors I've seen are Hot Chocolate for the Clubman and White Silver for the convertible. No hint of the rumored non-metallic black, even- it seems BMW would prefer MINI dealerships to look like a Mercedes lot when it comes to color  |
