MCS Servicing Question - MINI Cooper Forum

My MCS will be twelve months old next month and done 6.5K miles to date.

Had a postcard from my dealer stating it's due for a service unless the on-board computer says different. Otherwise they recommend a Healthcheck for £35 inc VAT.

As it's not due for a service do members think it's a good idea to have this check ?

Does it say what the check involves?

It could be something as simple as them reading codes off the car and a visual check etc in which case it would be pointless. Just keep up with regular maintenance yourself and it should be fine.

Drive it more and get to the first service quicker!

Thanks for the reply..........no details of what the Mini Healthcheck comprises

Might give them a call to find out.
