it's me on the very left, others are mates of mine checking the car out , it'll be the same situation with yours too
I had not many choices, when I was about to order the MCS, there was only a LB/W, this DS/W with flame spoke wheels and a DS/B in the pool. So decided that the LB/W would be too much "out there" for me and I liked the flame spoke wheels so took the other one.
DS/B looks very elite, cool and also somewhat dignified, but also seems like to keep things in a low profile a little bit with the all dark color combination (For my taste of course).
DS/W looks also cool and dignified, but a little bit more out there (not as much as the LB ) The car looks like it has a white shirt on with a cool dark grey jean because of the white roof and etc.
Hard choice, but the pictures don't to do the thing, you have to see both in flesh and blood.
We have been considering putting white stripes on...........but after putting some strips of paper on the bonnet to see what it looked like.....decided not to......maybe.......
I saw a MCS yesterday in Dark Silver with white roof and white bonnet stripes. This is the first one I have seen in the flesh..........It looked terrific and better than I had imagined from seeing photos etc.
(Woodbridge Road Ipswich) if the driver is reading this?
The guy driving it looked so proud, and with the sun shining on the car I finally made my mind up.
Its taken a while to reach this important decision. Many miles travelling up and down the roads Mini spotting have been great fun.....not that I will be giving this past time up!!
Now all I need to do is prepare for putting in my order......reckon it will be in the New Year and can't wait.
Yaay, the "white roof" team won against the "black roof" team
Black sure looks good on a MINI, but as I wrote in my post a bit higher up white roof is simply more MINI (in my mind anyway) - glad that you have decided finally, desicions can be tough sometimes
