Cooper S Gen 2 Performance

Hello,

Just got a used 2007 Cooper S, with all the trimmings.

How do I know if the previous owner has re-mapped the ECU? Never driven a Cooper S before and it pulls at every gear, makes me think that the ECU has been remapped. How would I know?

however they feel very quick standard. Bearing in mind they are meant to be 175bhp standard my stnadard car rolling roaded at 193bhp and 216 lb/ft torque which is loads over what it should be.

i doubt it is remapped just feels rally torquey and quick. Great cars, i never ever regret getting mine

I agree with Ant FR - I bet the car is standard.

Mine delivered 191 hp and 211 Ibft standard on a road - not even an air filter fitted.

Same here getting rolling roaded next month as mine just feels like i would of left my r53 for dead, it pulls so hard this morning i almost caught myself out on a bend, i ending up hanging on
