Calling all remapped MCS drivers! Any times?

Hi,

This is in response to a recent discussion with P-Torque about performance gains Reading some of your posts, remaps are pushing power in some cases to around 230 bhp!

Obviously thats pretty impressive, but are the 0-60 times dramatically improved and has anyone tested this with any before and after figures they might share?

For 230bhp you will be looking to add an exhaust too

Im not sure. But my friend knows a guy that now has the tools etc. to remap the R56 through the OBD port so will be getting mine done in the next few weeks, luckily as my friend has had a few bits done by him before i will be getting mine done for a mere £300 (225bhp) so can let you know once its done. If anyone else is interested by the way he will also do a discounted price for a few more if they come on the same day, I think he is in HUNTINGDON near CAMBRIDGE.

when remapping the engine, do you have to declare this to the insurance company as a modification?
