Blow Off Adaptor by forge

I am very interested to put on the blow off adaptor by forge in my mini, it seems to sound awsome......just wonder has anyone intstalled one in their mini????? will it affect the warrenty of the car????? thx.......

A friend of mine fitted one to his MCS and at high rpms it put the car into limp home mode... He didn't keep it for long...

We have seen varying results from the BOV.

Some R56's throw limp mode with these fitted. Others seem to cope after an adaption period from the ECU

Have one fitted and the car has gone into limp home mode 3 times. Every time the temperatures been around 0C. But after the first service the problem is gone
But I'm curious on how it will work in temperatures of -10C and less...

i have ordered BOV adaptor from forge, is it easy to fit and any downside of the bov?

Yes easy to fit in under 30 mins.. u should find instructions on the forge website, as i said i found no problems with mine on my car, only thing is the sound after a while gets a bit annoying ..
