| Hello moto, So I'm borrowing someone's Mini Cooper S for a little while. Fun little car. It's an '09 model with 6-speed stick. I have a few concerns and need some peace of mind... - This morning I started the car, let it warm up a couple minutes, and started driving. There was a slight rattling noise for a few minutes, but then it went away. Normal? - Sometimes the idle in this car is rough. Normal? I've filled up premium gasoline, but I don't know if oil changes are up-to-date. - I took a fast right curve this morning (maybe 30 mph), and the oil light came on for just a couple seconds along with the Mini beep. Normal? Thanks for the information. |

| WOW, you need to check the oil right now. Start-up engine noise and the oil lite afre a moderate turn is a sure sign ther's not enough oil in the engine. Get som Casrol Full-Syn 5W-30 and check the level warm. Add enought to get the level to midway between the 2 raise ridges on the stick. |
