| installing the iPod connect option The auxiliary option is ok when wanting to connect an ipod, but it just sucks not to be able to handle the ipod through the steering wheel or the song list through the mp3 panel display. I was thinking of trying to install the ipad kit on my own cause it will cost fortune to do this through the dealer. Can it be done and how?  |

| thanx rogernelson but to be honest due to the fact that my english isnt that good nor is my tech knowledge adequate, i don think ill be able to do all this without pictures or even better a video. Also i have a 08 R56, without the iPod option installed, shouldnt there be some programming for it to work? |

| I am interested in doing this upgrade, not so much for the ipod, but for the bluetooth and phone features.. I had found a guide, but the dealer told me it would only work with the first generation mini's not the second. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |
