| Can you tell me what this tube is for? Hello, I just installed a NM engineering strut brace on my 2011 MCS. The bar and mounts fit solidly, but the tube circled in red on my car is higher and routed differently so the bar rests on top of it and pushes down on it. This tube goes from the engine top, then goes down to a bracket on the side of a hose clamp (intake air hose) and finally into the firewall. Can anybody tell me what this tube is for, if there is any problem if it contacts the bar and if it is possible to retrofit the a tube form an earlier version that seems to be routed different?. | looks like the brake servo hose.. I'd rather push my mini than drive a ford or anything french..  Criteria for buying a diesel..1)long journeys.2)motorway miles.3)minimum 14k mls per yr.. |
