I have found out I have 1 'free' service left on my cooper s.(09) 35k miles. My local dealer has said I would have to pay £65 for brake fluid change...the rest is free.
I have also the option to take out another 3 yrs service pack for £277. This seems a good deal. I wonder how much of the service work may not be free though.
They do like to charge on bits. I take it you'll bee keeping the car out of warranty? If so there's plenty of independents out there that are reasonable for serving
You will have to pay for the second brake fluid change but you don't have to pay the dealer to do it.
I think that TLC XL is worth the money, I'll go for it when mine expires. At £98 for one oil change it has to be a bargain.

The £277 for next 2-3 services must beat the independents. I will look at them in the future thats for sure.
I go into my local MINI dealer quite often and Ive never actually seen anyone having their pants pulled down, but I will keep a keen eye out.
Some of the salesmen do look a bit red in the face Ive noticed on occasions, but that could be due to the fact someones just shafted them on a cut price deal on their new MINI.
