Some advice please

Hello,

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to Mini's, but I have a soft spot for the Cooper S and am looking at them for my next car.

I currently drive an MGF and have had this for 5 years. Have loved every minute of ownership.

But it's time for a change and I have found two Mini's that I like, but am having trouble deciding which one to go for!

Both of them have the Chilli Pack.

The first is a 2007 in blue with Sat Nav, leather seats, etc. This is about 4 hours drive away from me. 46,000 miles.

The second one is a 2008 in black. No Sat Nav and half leather seats. £900 more. This is about an hours drive away from me. 43,000 miles.

Both come with a years warranty.

I love the black Mini's and they have always been my favourite, but with no Sat Nav or full leather seats and £900 more I'm struggling to decide! Kinda wish the blue one was black!

I'd post pics up, but need a minimum 15 posts before I do.

Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts/advice.

Personally I wouldn't worry about getting too hung up on the extras, more the condition. They both sound good cars. So which one has a better Service History, feels tighter, feels better looked after etc. The accessories help sell a car for sure, but I'd always look at the car itself before the extras..

alot of ppl these days will travel no matter what the distance is to buy the right car,i did nearly 500mls to get mine

do you really need sat nav,but on the flip side the car with sat nav could have bluetooth.

Thanks. Both have full service history, MOT'd for a year. I already have a TomTom, so I guess I don't really need a Sat Nav built in. I'm going to see the black on at the weekend and see what it's like

The TomTom will be 100 times a better SAt Nav too!!!

I prefer the Black one, but thats totally my opinion. I think that it looks a slicker car. But thats just personal preference so go with what your heart tells you on the colour.

You could always buy a brand new one then you can have it exactly as you want it to be and they are doing a few deals at the moment too, like 50/50 on an S ??
