2013 Automatic Transmission

Hi,

Am considering purchasing a 2013 Cooper S Hardtop. Does the automatic offer an automatic "blip" to match RPM's on downshift? I hate the idea of purchasing an auto, but may do so to accommodate other drivers in my household. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I purchased a 2012 MCS auto a month ago. No it doesn't blip the throttle but it changes so quickly it's not a problem. I wouldn't go back to a manual now.

the mini auto has a torque converter, rev matching is not necessary
